Consultation Policy

Please review the following policy before booking your consultation. It explains consultation fee credits, rescheduling, no-shows, scope and other important terms.

Professional Advice You Can Trust

Every consultation is provided by a licensed Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) and conducted in accordance with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC) Code of Professional Conduct .

1 Consultation Fee Credit

Your consultation fee may be credited toward our professional fees if you retain our services within the applicable period:

30 DAYS

Temporary Residence

Applies to Temporary Resident Visa, visitor visa and study permit applications.

120 DAYS

Permanent Residence and Complex Matters

Applies to permanent residence, family sponsorship, Provincial Nominee Programs, appeals and complex immigration matters.

UP TO 120 DAYS

Employer and Business Consultations

Employer and business consultation fees may be credited, subject to our approval.

Important: A consultation fee credit applies once per file. It is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash value.

2 Refunds, Rescheduling and No-Shows

Non-Refundable Fees

All consultation fees are non-refundable, regardless of the outcome, advice provided or eligibility assessment.

48-Hour Rescheduling Policy

One rescheduling request is permitted with at least 48 hours’ notice.

Late Requests and No-Shows

Late rescheduling requests or failure to attend the scheduled consultation will result in forfeiture of the full consultation fee .

Cancellations

Cancellations are not permitted once the consultation has been booked and confirmed.

3 What Your Consultation Covers

  • Consultations are limited to the duration selected and confirmed at booking.
  • The consultation covers only the matters discussed during the scheduled session.
  • New or additional matters may require another consultation or a separate retainer agreement.
  • A written summary, legal opinion, application plan or follow-up report is not included unless expressly stated in the service description.
  • The consultation does not include preparing or submitting an immigration application, reconsideration request, judicial review or other legal proceeding unless expressly stated.

4 Professional Relationship

  • A consultation provides professional immigration advice but does not establish a formal client–representative relationship.
  • Representation begins only after a written retainer agreement has been signed and all applicable requirements have been satisfied.
  • All fees are subject to applicable GST/HST.

5 Additional Terms

Urgent and Same-Day Appointments

Urgent or same-day consultation requests may be subject to an additional rush fee.

Follow-Up Consultations

Returning clients may be eligible to book a shorter follow-up consultation at a reduced rate.

Appointments and Communication

All calls and meetings are by appointment only. Communication, additional work or extra time outside the booked consultation or signed retainer agreement may be subject to additional professional fees.
