Post-Application Process for Immigration

Once you submit your application to the IRCC:

  1. Review: IRCC checks the application for completeness, correct payment, and document validity.
  2. Interview (if needed): If required, they’ll schedule an interview.
  3. Decision:
    • Accepted: You’ll receive your original documents, a letter of introduction if outside Canada, and further instructions.
    • Refused: Your original documents and an explanatory refusal letter are returned.
  4. Entry into Canada: Present your introduction letter, passport, any required visa, and travel documents at the Canadian port of entry to receive your work permit.
